Who we are
John Radcliffe has over 30 years of IT industry experience, including 18 years as an analyst at Gartner and 8 years at Oracle in product marketing roles.
"I have a wealth of experience working with senior IT and business leaders at major end user organisations from all vertical industries and I have also worked extensively with software vendors and external service providers. My written research has been widely read and successfully leveraged across the world and I have spoken at numerous events in many countries.
At Gartner I was best known for my research on Master Data Management (MDM) where I helped establish Gartner's reputation in the MDM arena by authoring key Gartner research, such as the Seven Building Blocks of MDM, the MDM Maturity Model, the Architectural Styles of MDM and the MDM of Customer Data Magic Quadrant. I also chaired, or co-chaired, many of the Gartner MDM Summits in the US and Europe between 2007 and 2012.
In the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) area, I was the lead author of the Eight Building Blocks of CRM framework and I chaired, or co-chaired, several Gartner CRM Summits in Europe
Since 2013, I have been an independent analyst and consultant focusing on MDM and Data Governance, particularly in the context of customer data, CRM and Big Data. I advise both the software vendor and the end user organization communities."
